    Success with Polaris R/R

My 1983 GR650 project is on the road as of today. A home made bracket placed it in the area formerly occupied by the air box. I used a Triumph wiring harness(less than $10 from Bikebandit) to help splice it in with a neat and tidy appearance. 12.8 volts at idle and a nice progressive curve up to 14 volts at 4000 rpm. It went no higher than 14 volts with more rpm. A huge thank you to all the good people on this forum for the information provided on this project. Next to start the sidecar fabricating! I am one happy old phart!

You should do the tests in Phase A of the stator pages. Sounds like dirty connections/fusebox/grounds.
