Keeps blowing main fuse and just dies gs750es
have a 1983 gs750es. It keeps blowing main fuse once I try to ride it. help needed. Can anyone send me a wiring layout of the 7th es model or has anyone he the answer to my problem pleaseTags: None

This wiring diagram should be close.. The 15 amp main fuse is real close to its maximum during startup. Try removing the headlight fuse ,etc.and see what changes. The r/r (rectifier/regulator) can cause issues too.

Disconnect the wires going to the R/R first and see if that stops the blowing fuse problem. If it does then verify the stator is good and replace the R/R.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

When does this happen -
Turning the key on?Pressing the start button?Putting it in gear?
Have you looked through the wiring harness from headlight to taillight to see if any bare wires are touching each other that shouldn't be?Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace
