    Wiring loom/harness identification

Hi there, I am currently working on a gs1000 build, got to the wiring stage and recently purchased a used loom, as the bike I am building all came in parts I am struggling to identify the exact model it is, could any one identify the following loom please the tag on it reads x4341-36610-49630 I have tried to find it on cmsl and various other sites I could then reference a wiring diagram for that model and trace back the wiring from the bike to loom , frame Vin is a 79 but as everything came in pieces it may be I have older and newer model year parts together including engine , lots of common plugs on the bike locate on the loom so am heading in the right direction , if it helps the loom has the big block connector for the left hand bar switch
    any help greatly appreciated
    Regards Neil

Check out BikeCliff's Web Site (http://members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff/). In the middle column you will find the service manuals that contain wiring diagrams for all the GS1000 series. The '79 had a choke pull in the middle of the handlebars. Earlier models had the choke lever on the carburetor rack. This should help find the year and model (The vin number is on the steering neck of the frame): http://www.suzukicycles.org/_misc/identification.shtml
