    Dismantling Fusebox

I've searched and read 'til I'm getting confused. I'm assuming you need to get inside your fusebox (in my case OEM '83 1100G) to properly clean hardware/terminls and solder the crimps. I've found pictures of fuseboxes taken apart but can't figure mine out. I've taken out any screw I can find and there is a seam that will give a little which would let the back come off but it's real tight and I don't want to break it. Is it just pressed on? Is there a trick? Actually, it's a spare fuse box.

1986 Suzuki Cavalcade GV 1400 LX (SOLD)

I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

It's unlikely to break. Just get Alpha with it.

So do they all come apart? I'm wondering if by "soldering the crimps" writers are talking about the connectors that plug into the fusebox. Maybe on the box itself, you just put some naval jelly down into the contacts where the fuses plug in. It seems some boxes have wiring inside them and others just have brass contact plates that run in the appropriate pathways. I tell you, me working on electrical stuff would make a good Three Stooges movie. Where is Curly?
