Grumble grumble .. Electrosport Stator and RR

Some things just make me a little nuts. So I ordered a ESG014 and the esr100 which is a matched set for my bike.
But .. the stator has three multicolored wires and 2 of them have bullets and one a spade. The RR has three yellow wires and they are all bullets.

Not a huge deal to cut off the spade and install new connectors but ... WTH ... why cant both parts have matching connectors

Because for a true, PERFECT replacement, one of the stator wires would have disappeared into the harness, then re-appeared to finally get to the R/R.

Since that is not what you want to do, you will need to modify a bit.

Good luck with the new R/R. I am sure you have seen all the information being posted about the shunt-type R/R that you just purchased and what you can eventually expect from it.

We will assume that it was an informed decision to spend twice as much as necessary for a lesser (but still adequate) R/R.
