I had so much trouble with the electrical system on my 82 gs850g that I removed the wiring harness and just started from scratch. I connecting my coils to the hot lead and the other lead to my pick-up coil but get no spark. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. PS: All lights work

Ahhhhh? Where is your igniter to drive the coils? Can't just connect the pick-up coil directly to the coils unless you have something like a Dynatek Dyna-S or something like it.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

OK, I'm electrically lost. I'll see if I can find the ignitor and connect it. Do I need the Dynatec to complete this circuit?Comment
