    1982 GS50M TDC Question

    Greetings Smart People...

I've been putting my motor together today and wanted to double check myself with all you wickad smaaaat people... Bot my Clymers and OEM Manual talk about a mark to the LEFT of the T on the timing plate.... as seen here..

    and here...

Welp.... my mark is to the RIGHT of the T.... as seen here...

Now common sense tells me to line it up to the mark to the RIGHT of my T because there is nothing to the left...

    Whatcha all think?

    Thank you in advance...

      Yes, common sense should prevail.

If it helps, change the wording to "Use the mark next to the T".
That way, it wouldn't matter which side it was on.

Also there is a member here named Basscliff that has a very informative site with loads of information. He might have a factory manual for your bike that you can download. Look up his name on the members list and there might be a link.
