    SH775 Install in 1982 Katana

I’m struggling to find a location for the installation of a SH775 on my Katana. It’s too large to fit in the same location as the stock R/R and there is no room anywhere close to the battery box. The best spot I can find is in the tail piece. I know that ideally the R/R should have a very short ground connection to the battery or SPG. Would I be inviting any problems by installing in the tail piece?

Should be fine. Just be sure you have a good clean ground. Or better yet, run a wire back to the battery. You can follow the tail lamp harness route.

Nope. It’s all very tight in there. If I had pods/no air box I’d have all kinds of room. But it’s stock and I want to keep it that way.

I wonder if lack of air flow would cause issues?
