SERIES 3 Phase Regulator / Rectifier Compatability Question....
Just wondering. Provided that a replacement R R is a Genuine Shindengen, whether sourced from a Polaris vehicle or elsewhere, can one use the SH775 unit or the SH847 etc. or any Compufire 3 phase unit with GS machines?Last edited by Guest; 04-12-2018, 08:23 PM.Tags: None

The FH family R/R's are not SERIES type. It's the SH type that are.
And as far as I know, as long as the R/R is three phase type you can use it on a GS.Ed
To measure is to know.

If I remember correctly, the SH775 is rated for 35 amps, the SH847 is rated for 50 amps.
Considering that our charging systems won't even hit 25, even the 775 is overkill.
Note that both the Shindengen and Compufire units are larger than stock.
Shindengen has a larger footprint, Compufire is just a little larger, but about twice as tall.
