How to remove electrical connector (4 wire square connector)

    Hi all,

Am trying to fix a no start issue. While replacing the coils the harness connection point (a plastic/nylon connector that accepts 4 mini blades leading tn tho the coils) lost a wire.

How can this connection be removed from the plastic hosting ? I would like to reconnect the wire.

There is a tang that you need to push down on to release the pin connector. I use something like a dental pick. If you look at it from the connection side you can see an area above the pins where you can insert the pick. You'll also want to push the connector pin in from the back side a little before it can be pushed out. It's acts like a barb.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
