My battery was on the outs so before it left me somewhere I decided to change it out. I didnt relish the idea of laying out near $100.
I took a shot and ordered a "Chrome" battery from amazon.
It is said to be fabricated in Indiana of Chinese parts. It arrived in about 4 days and I just installed it. Came charged at 12.88 in the box and i didnt have to worry about a core charge from the local places. At $45 shipped... I will just keep checking it and see. My last one lasted just a touch over a year and I can probably maybe get a few more months out of it but didnt want to risk it. The Chrome battery comes with an 18 month warranty but as we all know .. warranties are only as good as the company when you need to use it.
