    Headlight bucket wiring question

Going thru the whole wiring on my 82 GS1100ez. The wiring in the headlight bucket, is there diagram or layout picture that I go off of. My wiring doesn't seem to reach the tabs in the bucket to be away from the headlight bulb. I know there 3 holes in the back of it but not sure which harness goes thru which hole to be layout. Currently I can't seem to get the bulb in the bucket with some force to get the screws in so I know there in the way.

Still running the stock train light so it got a lot space in there.

Page 447 here: http://gsarchive.bwringer.com/mtsac/...-SD-ED-ESD.pdf may help a bit.

I was looked at that manual this morning but didn't realize that was the headlight bucket. I thought was something with the handle bars wiring for some reason. I'll see if I can get mine go like that. Thank you

        1983 GS1100ED virtually the same as 82

This was a new harness and so i protected the connectors with oversized shrink tubing . There is also a zip tie end to end holding the connectors together.

You should get a camera. These photos are from 2008.

I've never seen any wires in the bucket that were even close to being too short, they're always longer than they need to be, that's why it's so hard to get the light in the bucket, too much extra wire wadded up in there. Don't expect the light to go in without a little force, sometimes quite a bit of force.
