For what it's worth, apparently Interstate doesn't actually MAKE batteries. From the link below, Yuasa makes their motorcycle batteries. But, hopefully they want to maintain their brand , ('though my own experience with one of their boat batteries was "middling")

Here's an interesting page the Bold entries are manufacturers. Naturally, it's subject to change and I don't know how current or even accurate it is. But I just want to prove a point; WE, the hoi polloi, are at a disadvantage unless we make a career out of "shopping"
