    ignitor grounded to battery box?

quick question, painted my battery box, does the ignitor ground to the box? Do I need to sand the paint off the landing points for the ignitor? thanks all!

My 850 is grounded through the harness, I would imagine that the rest are, too.

Painting things, eh....? Part of a larger project, maybe.

You didnt ask, maybe because you all ready know, but.......
THe solenoid and the R/R do get their ground from the battery box, well, the solenoid mounting bolt. Hence why the ground wire from the wiring harness there.

Yep, went to install the battery and noticed the batt box and frame cross member/tank mount were getting a bit broken-in, so gave them a quick coat of caliper paint. Not so much a larger project, just something to do on a saturday in the time of covid. Hope you are doing well, Dave, first confirmed case in muskegon announced this morning, Erin is at Mercy now and is a bit....worried about everything. Stay well!!

I usually add another thick ground wire between the battery box & my single point ground (or in my case it's more of a "most of it goes here" ground). Just to be sure. There's a lot of sh*te on there that needs a good ground path
