    Can’t find sensor

I have a 84 gs1150ef and I have no spark. I have changed coils, wires and plugs. Now I think crank sensor but I can’t find one through usual google search or my parts dealers. Can anyone point me in the direction of one? Thanks.

The crank sensors are very long-lived and you can test them for continuity and resistance easily enough.
Not sure what yours will be but the manual will tell you.
Another favourite failure point isn't the sensors themselves but where the wire to them runs alongside the sump and can fall loose onto the hot exhaust.
    Ask me how I know...

Crank sensor?? Rekon what we would call it in the U.S. "Crank Sensor" doesn't ring a bell to me on a GS.

It’s part of the signal generator setup....sensors are durable, some ignitors aren’t

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess what I was looking for was a signal generator but after testing it seems good. I am going to try a new cdi on Saturday and pray that’s it haha.
