Sunday I invited some friends over to do the SH-775 switch that I have been planning for a couple of months now. After inspecting the original wiring closely, I found some differences between my Clymer shop manual and the bike itself. I you check the pictures, you can see that going out of the fuse box, there is 5 wires grouped in one connector and a lone red wire, going to the battery. However, if you check the Clymer manual(GS650 1981-1983 maintenance, troubleshooting, repair. M364) at page 309, and you check the wiring diagram for the 1982 GS650GLZ., the wiring is not the same. Instead of having 5 wires in one connector you have 4 wires in one and the fifth one alone. Also, the lone red wire going to the battery is represented as black in the manual (The big red wire going from the battery to the starter solenoid is also marked as black despite being clearly red on my motorcycle).
I just want to know if im missing something here. the plaque on my frame clearly says GS650GLZ so im pretty sure I have the right one. Is the manual wrong? Thanks for your imputs!

(P.S: I can only put one image per post so here is the plaque on my motorcycle, rest will be in comments)
