Old grease gun use ?

I have an old grease gun and wandered if anyone
had similar and knew what the various screws do ?

top left and one top ?

Bleeding air out of it after you refill it with grease.

I see so fill by hand (obviously).
Screw grease handle reservoir thing back in, undo both bleed screws , pump a bit , than tighten both...... when all air out.

Yeah, depends.
If you have a tub of grease it might have a hole in an inner lid which you cover with the body of the grease gun and press downwards as you pull the chain out. This fills the body with grease, but there's always an air pocket, which is where the air bleeders come in.
If you don't have a tub with that handy hole, it's over to pulling the chain back, locking it, and then scrape in spoonfuls of grease, one horrible mess at a time.
