half moon cam plugs is this them?

Im going to check the shims and all that on the bike in a few days and figured I might need to replace the little rubber half moon pieces via bikecliffs instructions. Is number 18 under the CYLINDER HEAD section on this part fisch what I need?

I've adjusted the valves on my 16v GS and 8v KZ and did not need to replace the plugs. If yours are in good condition I would save your money. If they are weeping oil, a small smear of RTV will usually fix them.

Z1 sells aftermarket ones that are much cheaper... I've used them on several bikes with no issues.

Z1 Enterprises specializes in quality Motorcycle parts for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha Classic Japanese motorcycles from the 1970's and 1980's.

The Z1 ones specify '83 850GLD but not 1100GLD. They would fit the 1100GLD wouldn't they?

the GS half moons are all the same as long as they are not part of a one piece VC gasket.
                when installing new half moons...
install them backwards...you will be happy you did as they will not try to pop out and they are less prone to leak.

                  Yeah I 2nd that!

I installed them backwards by accident, then everyone on Here told me that it was okay, they can be installed either way.

Slammed a little RTV just incase.... Not a drop of oil.
Actually I just ran some RTV around the whole valve/head gasket anyways, just incase!
(everyone on here told me it would leak, but they were wrong, hehe.)
