    Tach and drive

Hi fellow GS'ers, Does anyone know of a company that can rebuild and or calibrate tachometers for a 80 GS750ET? I have two and both are not working right, one is flipping all over the dial and the other is about 3-4 thousand rpm too slow. Or does anyone out there have a good working one to sell?

Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

I'd suggest reading this first and seeing if some lube fixes them:

Was the first thing I did, new cables all cleaned and lubed gauges still crap. Even the bushings in the gauge drives were lubed.

Bugger, time to start looking for a replacement then I would guess... hopefully something reasonably priced pops up on eBay or a wrecker for you.
