    local mechanic or engine shop??

i'm looking to see if anyone does work for hire or knows of a shop to do an engine overhaul either in the antelope valley area or san fernando valley area around los angeles. my 81 gs1100e is leaking oil out of every gasket surface. i'd like to do it myself, but i know it would never get finished that way plus i don't have the micrometers and other stuff needed to do the job right.

Rapid Ray is the guy for a hop up engine. If you just want to do a stock rebuild I'll help you. My project list is empty these days.

most every day guys on here like Nessism aren't going to be looking for an arm and a leg to help you out. I'm not sure, but if I was to do it (not that I could because I'm in Maine) but I would want you there because it's easier to work with someone and you get to learn at the same time...
