Repalcement Speedo

How do I figure out what speedos i can replace my cluster with. I am going to bobber out my bike and the cluster is to bulky. The bike is a 1982 GS 650G. Thank you

Depends how handy you are. Did the same thing to my friends 83 750 Maxxim but his speedo and tach went out so we swapped it with a 750 Triple but had to cut and put a new socket on. Usually what you have to do with most bikes is a new socket matching most wiring or you can find specific from some vendors but usually will be a plug for the tach and a single for the odometer. I think it's been done a few times, check out the search feature and look up a few different things.

I think I will just use the original and pull everything else off it.
