Most everything except for a few engine parts, assuming you are talking about the 3rd generation 750.Ed
To measure is to know.

The only difference between the two is rods, crank, and exhaust cam. Some people claim the pistons are different but I've always seen the same part number for the two. The 700 cam used to be a popular mod for the 750. The bodywork is slightly different too. The carb jetting differs a little too.

Here's a picure of that:
Left is the 83 750. Right is my 85 750.The 83 is lighter so that went in the 85.

Hey Billy, I'm gonna try a set of 700 pistons(slight dome) with750 rods and crank. I'm also going to use the 700 gearbox, and 700 cams.
I hope it all works cause it's all the good parts I have left between the two parts bikes I have....Have you tried this combo before?

I got my bike at a tow auction for $200 so my plan is to stay cheap. Of course, I just found out my towing company impounded an 82 gs1100e. So i'm thinking of doing a 7/11 on it. decisions... decisions...

If thats the case then the motor is coming apart. But instead of new bearings, a cheap bastard route would be to pick up another crank and rods off ebay for $50 and put them in.

You need an '80-'82 GS750E to do a 7/11 mod.GS450E GS650E GS700ES GS1000E GS1000G GS1100G GS1100E
