Dropping the oil pan 78 GS750 ?
As soon as it gets warmer here I will be taking off the complete exhaust to replace all 6 gaskets; is it advisable to also drop the oil pan for a look see and/or do any maintenance while I have the pipes off? Anything to look for?

Yes do that. You be admazed how much sludge/ bits of gasket goo there is hiding in there. I do mine every 2 oil changes to see if any bits there that shouldnt be.
