    Stretched choke cable

Anyone know a good way to fix a stretched choke cable on a 1982 GS850GL? There is alot of slack on the carb side, and I have to hold the choke thumb control back and then reach down and pull the choke out by hand and hold the choke until I start the bike and let it warm up.

turns out that it was just needing a a bit of oil to loosen it up. shows a bit of slack at the carb side, but it pulls it out all the way now.
