    Gs650l?

So I just bought an 82 GS650L, at least thats what it says on the side. I've been looking for some upgrade/maintenance parts, but I cant find anything for a GS650L. I've seen GS650GL, is that the same thing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yep, same thing. For some reason, the "L"s never had the "G" as part of the artwork on the side, even though the standard "G" did.

BassCliff will be along shortly with his "Welcome Wagon" bit, so sit tight, get ready for LOTS of reading material.

Thanks! I've been poking around looking for some info. Planning on doing new brakes, lines, fluids, probably the MC off my Busa. Need ISO grips, pegs, new bars, cant do mini buckhorns. Looking forward to some words of wisdom

Don't try the MC off your 'Busa.

All the 'Busas I have seen have had two disks on the front wheel, your 650L only has one. Yeah it makes a difference.

If you change your bars, look into changing your cables, too. Cables from a 650G will be shorter because the G came with more "normal" bars.
If you go with bars that are even lower and/or shorter, something from a 450S might work.

Lots of info there! I saw your website when I was poking around earlier. I just ordered a Clymer manual, it's worked great on my Busa. Think I'm going to get a set of bars that seem to be from a 650G maybe.

Any specifics on what would be an issue? Too much pressure?
