Clutch Basket rebuild
Got mine off and the springs are all loose in the back of the basket. But it looks like somebody already tried shimming the large springs. They're not washers, rather a washer looking thing with a nipple that sticks down inside the i.d. of the spring. But, they're still loose. I'd like to either get better springs, or have them shimmed. Anybody near Dayton who could help me out with this? Or, does anybody have a heavy duty basket for my '81 1000G? Looking for options here. I tried turning the springs until they kind of snugged up, but I'm not satisfied with that venture. Thanks for any help!Current Bikes:

Right up the road. Worth it just to go see his shop and talk to him I reckon. More knowlege in that brain than just about the whole collective here good guy too.
