Tach wire GS750
My tachometer stopped working today, and when I looked the wire had unscrewed itself from the engine, and the coupling inside (the wire side, not the rotating thingy on the engine) was broken.

Hi,
Number 34 in the parts fiche picture:
CABLE,TACHOMETER
34940-45212 (replaces 34940-45031, 34940-45032)
About $14 - $17 at most online OEM vendors, depending on where you shop. I recommend an OEM Suzuki part rather than an aftermarket part.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff

I'm curious. What vendor(s) do you Europeans use? Local? Online? http://www.cmsnl.com/ ?

I've already found that Bike Bandit charges silly money for international shipping, so that's not really an option, unless I can talk someone in the states to relay for me.
Cliff, I don't know where I'd go, but we have a Suzuki dealer in town I'll go to when I get back from my job in the Pacific in a couple of weeks...
Thanks guys.

It was really weird to ride without it, I had no idea until it stopped working how much I look at it...
At speed the engine note isn't always easy to hear, and I did a couple of loser gear shifts today.

I had the same problem. I ordered a new cable, installed it, started the bike up and... nothing. So i take the cable off, to see if I installed it incorrectly, and found that it was broken! Any ideas why it would brake so quickly?
