I cannot believe that until Ray posted, all of the answers were WRONG!
What is happening around here these days anyway?

Technically, he may have been right, but I think the answers before his were just fine for valve cover bolts. I had really originally just wanted to know if I could tighten up the bolts without a torque wrench. The question was answered well before Ray spoke up.

And Steve, I didn't think about having to go in there for the valve adjustments later, so I probably will have problems because of that extra sealant. Darn it, and "thanks" for the spelling correction. It doesn't happen often, so don't hold your breath for another.

Here is a little grammar tutorial about using the words affect and effect for those that didn't catch my mistake.

Edit: The written word is our form of communication for obvious reasons on this site, but it's funny how many mistakes people make on here. Maybe we should all go back to class. Oh, and getting effect and affect mixed up is a very common mistake. My comma use if iffy at times too, but I will be more diligent from now on lest Steve correct me again. That would be embarrassing. I'm just messing with you Steve, but really...feel free to correct me. When I speak Spanish I expect everything to be correct, so feel free. I'd rather know my mistakes and fix them, then never know and keep making them.
