So please share how you "...get it cleaned out". I'd love to learn the UK's magic method.

nowt to do with magic I'm afraid to report..... just get it chemically dipped into some nasty chemicals and it comes out sparkly.... £30 and it's good as new. paint on the outside is unaffected

Thanks guys. The tank in question will be cut and have a modern sportbike filler port added. I like the look. Ill have to do a little searching and pick up one from one of those silly stunters who cant seem to keep both wheels on the ground. And since my riding season will have to wait til next season, Orthopedic surgery, Ill have to temporary treat the tank til then.
