Front master cylinder cup set stuck

My cup set piston has got jammed inside the front master cylinder. Anyone experienced this and have any idea of extracting it without damaging the interior?

Only way I know is a compressor to blow it out, but make sure you got towels or something in front to catch it.

Are you thinking of the caliper?

You can stick a dowel in the other end to push it out.

I did that for my caliper, but I figured the same would apply for the master cylinder...

It didn't work for mine mind you, but that's a whole different story and it was shagged completely...

Soak it in pb blaster and just work at pulling it out. Maybe put the system in a vise, protected of course.

putting it through a compressor might damage the oil eye port wouldn't it?

No, it's just pretty good air and it will help clean some of the big junk before you start working the brake cleaner on it.
