Rebuilding the front m/c on my GS550EF. Question about the small relief hole inside the m/c. Looks like mine is plugged, can't see if there is a hole there. I have a box of dental drill bits but what size is the hole?

The hole size is "small". I've never seen a spec for the actual dimension.Ed
