GS1150 front fork air pressure
Hi there, I have an '84 GS1150EF is it supposed to have air adjustment for the front forks? Where is the line to put air in? I can see two lines running under the tank but where is the valve and how much pressure? My '84 Nighthawk S was pretty picky about low volumne and low pressure, hand pump only. Thanks.Tags: None

It's just under the top triple clamp on the left fork leg. You'll see a black plastic cap covering the air valve. Start with 4 or 5 psi and see if it's stiff enough for you.

If you install proper weight Progressive or Sonic springs up front, you won't have to add any air to the forks.
Your fork seals will lead an easieer life, and your ride quality will improve considerably.sigpic
