    Using the KZ1000 Carb boots

So I have to extend the bolt holes out by a couple of mm to get the same 66.5mm as the Suzuki ones...

I remember reading you had to reverse sides or fit upside down or something but can't find the post now.

Anyone shed any light, save me the time of trial & error

I dont know so this is why I'm asking.
What are the benefits of using these intake boots as opposed to using the ones made for the bike?
Also, this for your 78 1000?

The KZ boots are less than half the price of OEM Suzuki boots. Too bad they don't fit more bikes.

      Thank you for your indulgence,

That's the thread I wanted! Thanks!

Basscliff is right on the cost. Just saving some pennies was the aim of this mod. I'd got 3 years plus out of the old boots but they were old abd starting to separate. Figured it was time to bite the bullet and fix it right.
