1982 gs 750e

hi, i am restoring a 1982 GS 750E Z , and im puzzled regarding the clocks on the bike, all the photos ive seen of a GS 750 E, have different clocks, to the ones fitted on my bike, the bike is an american import, and im wondering if the 750 E models were released with different clocks, mine does not have the square headlight, but has the same clocks as the models with the square lights. does anyone know if the american bikes had two types of clocks. im not sure if the bike was like it from new, or has it had the clocks changed at some time. maybe the EZ models were different to the standard E model, I just dont know. any help would be appreciated.
