noob mistake: tried to loosen the drain nut the wrong way and lost the threads

    Are you kidding.. I could not even open the lower gang plate screws on my carbs.. Gatekeeper helped me..
    Its out of question how much torque this vegetarian can apply!

      they sell self tapping over sized plugs for cars dont see why you couldnt get 1 from a local parts store i work at a service center and i see this happen all the time threads come out with plugs we put a bit of grease on the self tapping part to catch the shavings and work it like a regular tap flush the case out with some oil clean and re install the tapping plug
