PM me with your name and address.

Probably can't get it out until mid next week, but I'll do it as soon as I can

Oh how life seems to catch up with you and delay even the simplest of plans...

I had some time to take the backplate off the tach/speedo, and I was able to get some spray-on white lithium grease up there, but it didn't help.

Haven't had time to get the gauge cluster off (how does it even come off? doesn't look like there is almost any clearance) yet. I just got the carbs put back together, so I get her idling and took her around the block once or twice just for kicks. Still need to do the vacuum sync and adjust the pilot circuits, but I couldn't help myself.

I guess I'll wait for wisgolfer's replacement tach and I'll toss that in there. Then I'll probably tear up my tach and see what is wrong with it (as if I'd even know).

        Spiders nest

I had a tach that was bouncing around a lot, so I carefully undid the edge crimping, and found a spiders nest in the magnetic cup; cleaned it out and crimped it back together, it has worked fine ever since. Lube never would have cured the problem.
