    Conditioning Leather Jacket

I just used Lexol Conditioner on my jacket, which is 2mm leather with Mad Max style chain mail on the elbows and chest/back. I was just wondering if the newfound suppleness makes it more or less vulnerable to abrasion if I happen to be sliding down the asphalt.

It had always been stiff- it's been like 10 years since I bought it used and I never conditioned it. It feels great now, but I'm just concerned about its integrity.

With the mad max chain mail stuff, being slippery and supple could come in handy during an asphalt ride, or at local biker hangout!
Relax it will be OK- of course, you might roast in it with this weather.
