                        The majority of you all say Rotella, I just use it and dont care to think about it any further. Plenty of other crap to work on with these bikes.

                        Now if we are talking about octane rating, well there is something to worry about!

                            FYI just paid $14.95 for Rotella T6 5w40 at Walmart (Indiana)-- after $5 mail in rebate attached to container. You can complete the rebate on line if you upload a copy of your receipt. Check to see participating locations.

                              Wow this was an old thread.
                              sigpicMrBill Been a GSR member on and off since April 2002
                              1980 GS 750E Bought new in Feb of 1980
                              2015 CAN AM RTS


                              Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.
