I appreciate the advice IMMENSLY I just don't need the extra remarks, or leaving out helpful warnings such as what occurs when removing the cap. I could go back and quote several instances but I have much more important things to do with my time. All im saying is, if it's as bothersome to enlighten me with your advice as it appears to be, don't bother.
Steve is just a ball buster. He's not picking on you in particular.

Not busting anything on anybody, and not picking on anybody, either.

Just offering advice when I can and calling 'em like I see 'em.

Apparently, not everybody appreciates my style.

Quote from Harry Potter, when Dumbledore escapes capture from the Ministry of Magic (HP5) "You may not like Dumbledore, minister, but you have to admit he has style".
          And that you do.

Sean, the cap will pop up when you finish unscrewing it. How much it pops up depends on the amount of preload is in the spring and a possible spacer that may (or may not) be in there with the spring. If you have never had the cap off before be prepared for it, keep the pressure on it and let it up slowly. It may not be much at all, but you will not know until you remove it.
Its nothing compared to the first time you use compressed air to push out a stuck brake piston, with no rag to cover it to keep it from flying, not ready for it to pop out like a steel hockey puck! skull cracker! lol
              scared the ba-jeepers outta me!

70's GS usually have the Phillips drain screws.
                  The 80's should have a 10mm nut or something.(which I prefer)

If you got the phillips one, have a cheapo impact driver ready, just in case.
