    Fuel Tank Question '83 GS650

I have a new-to-me pristine condition low low low mileage (under 1000) GS that I am looking to restore to riding...

I know I have some work to do in refreshing all the rubber bits, and the carbs , fluids in general etc.etc.

However - the bike suffered a tip over in the previous owners storage barn where I found it and there is a dent in the tank..the ONLY blemish on this almost new bike...

I spoke to a Paintless Dent repair guy I know and he says he can get it out (reasonably priced too) IF the tank is single wall...

I believe the tanks of this era are single walled ...but this is my first Suzuki and I wanted to find some information or assurance that I am thinking correctly along this line...

    Experts...? Your opinions are welcome.

    Absolutely it is single wall.
Please show us pictures of how he does it and how it looks afterwards.
