    Kickstart Went Kaput

I am just finishing my build on a 78 GS750. I had installed a new clutch cable a while back and today made the final adjustment, Now the kickstarter does not work, does not engage. Worked fine before I adjusted the clutch. Did I do something?

This sounds like a balancing act. Thanks for the response, I'll try it this morning because on this bike the kickstart will not work with the clutch in.

Try backing out the worm a bit. If the clutch is engaged the kick start won't work.

This clutch thing is a PIA. I get the clutch to work okay and the kickstarter won't work. Then.......well you know. I'm going to have to take it to someone who knows what the hell they're doing. Obviously I need the electric starter to work. Will order a relay.
