Thread size for brake bleeders?
For my 78 GS750 I'm looking for some new bleeder valves. I tried to eyeball the old ones at the car parts store and was wrong. I can't seem to find it online and the shop manual doesn't say the thread size. Any help?Tags: None

I'm guessing you got the speed bleeders from z1.
There are two different lengths for the speed bleeders SB7100S which has an overall length of 30.22mm and the SB7100 which has an overall length of 35.15mm. I tried using the SB7100S first and ran into the same problem it sounds like you are having. The nut portion of the bleeder made contact with the caliper before the tip of the bleeder bottomed out.
I switched mine for the longer ones and it solved the problem. I hope that helps.
