    G1981 S 850GL: Tach cable leak

My tach cable was replaced by the previous owner and looks to be new, but it leaks at the cylinder head. Looking at the fiche, I can only surmise that I need to replace the O ring. Any recommendations or other things I need to check before I order the part? Thanks.

there is an o ring on the outer of the tach drive and also a small oil seal on the inside, you should replace both as a precaution

my tach cable poured out oil when I got the bike. I got the seal & O-ring. They were an easy swap. Fixed that leak!
Read Bass Cliff's notes on it. A real easy job.

Where do I find Bass Cliff's notes on stuff? I have used his directions for the primary/secondary and rear diff oil, but was unaware there was more. Please advise. Thanks.
