What "o-rings" are you replacing in your master cylinder?
The only rubber bits that I am aware of inside a master cylinder have specific shapes, not just rubber composition.
By the time any internal rubber bits are in need of replacement, might as well spend a few bucks and get a proper rebuild kit.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
