I stumbled across this while looking to see what kind of o-ring I can use to replace the one in my master cylinder.

What "o-rings" are you replacing in your master cylinder?

The only rubber bits that I am aware of inside a master cylinder have specific shapes, not just rubber composition.

By the time any internal rubber bits are in need of replacement, might as well spend a few bucks and get a proper rebuild kit.

Possibly this one O-ring, not exactly in the master cylinder, but at the reservoir where in connects to the master cylinder, item 7.
