    Digital Torque Wrench

I am looking at buying an inch lbs torque wrench, but came upon this.

Anyone use a digital torque wrench, any comments.

I have a click type 40-250 ft lbs but need something for the lower range.

    This one goes from 7.4 - 36.8 ft-lb (90-440 in-lb) and is accurate to 4%.

    Thanks.

I don't know about the quality of that brand,,,,,but look at the one at Canadian Tire, I find there tools a bit on the better side at least for their better stuff....

I saw a similar device at HF, about $30 something. It looked like a socket extension with a digital torque readout on it. Use it with any ratchet, breaker bar, whatever. Just put it between the wrench handle and the socket, pull on it and read the torque.

Sounds like a useful little item to me.

Nice but starts at 29.5 ft-lbs I need inch pounds, wonder if they have one that does that. or I'll just buy a convention one.

BCCAP just dropped off a Canadian Tire branded one (Mastercraft Maximum) and it looks pretty good, so I may get one of those when they go on sale.
