shim missing in bucket

Bottom line is that the correct valve clearance brought the compression up. Starts and idles fine. Now I have the pods and Vance and Hines exhaust to work through. Will probably sell as is instead of buying a jet kit and spending the time to make it right.

Why not just do the work on it and ask for 50 bucks more?? shocking, no excuse, no specialist tools needed and all the available knowledge on here to help you to get it running right.

You had a scary moment with the shim but man up..... could have been worse I used the motion pro tool like I did and levered it with a small nut which is now somewhere in the engine.

Or, depending on how lean it is, and how high you rev it and for how long...... fix it or sell it before you put a hole in a piston?
