front sprocket

Tried to undo the nut on the front sprocket today as I am renewing that but it wouldn't come undone with my breaker bar so I will have to take it into work and get my Snapon airgun on it.

make sure the bendable tab washer has been bent away from the sprocket before you try and undo it (if it has one). put the bike in top gear and have a mate stand on the rear brake pedal. get a longer scaffold pole (or similar) over the end of the breaker bar to give you more leverage. it will undo with a bit of effort.

The bendable washer is not causing the problem. It is just very tight. The airgun will do the trick. If the socket will take it. Too much spring effect with the breaker bar. I will win.
