Quick connect for sidebags

Since I installed new shocks on the GK it's a little difficult to get the shock wrench behind the sidebags to change the preload.

So, I'm trying to think of a way to remove and replace the sidebags for this purpose. Right now they are installed with simple nuts and bolts. I'm thinking some kind of quick disconnect......any ideas ?

How often you gonna have to do this?

In my thinking, anything less than nuts and bolts will leave your bags rattling.

One possible exception would be Dzus fasteners.

Probably not very often, but, it's a pain when I do have to....and I agree, anything else may leave the bags rattling. Those fasteners look promising. I look through McMaster -Carr and they didn't seem to have anything that would fit the bill.

An alternative to Dzus fasteners might be ball-lock pins. Jergensinc.com calls them quicklock pins, and they have a variety of sizes and head styles. Somewhere I saw some that had a threaded knob on top for tightening the connection once assembled. Probably too expensive compared to Dzus fasteners, though.

Some weatherpack connectors for the turn signals would be nicer than fishing out the bullet connectors.

I'd love to find a way to mount the bags that didn't require emptying everything out of them before removal.
