    9,000 mile oil change!

2015 Ducati Diavel Carbon: 9,000 miles between oil changes!

(I think I'll stay closer to 2,000 for my old Suzi.)
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I'd be wicked hesitant running oil for 9000 miles in any engine. I will stick to the 3000 mile schedule or 90 days, whichever comes first routine on my vehicles.

Just like a car. High grade synthetic oil I suspect.

If my transmission and engine block didn't share the same fluids I would run 10,000 kms between changes.

Also maybe if I didn't always ride at 6000 RPM plus, lol.

Meh, it will outlast the warranty even if you never change the oil.

I usually run around 4k on my bikes with rotella.
I know someone with a Mercedes....20k between changes! He has over 200k on it too.

Valve check every 18k miles, I'm sold!

Apparently, everyone is making their own version of the V-Rod now.
