    Replacing swingarm

    Hi
I have recently replaced the swingarm bearings in my 83 650e but I'm having a real challenge refitting the swingarm. It looks as though one of the bearings is sitting slightly proud and when I put the thin washers on and then the end cap it's a real mission to get it between the mounts inside the frame. Any suggestions or tips it fits without the thin washers behind the dust caps but obviously these need to be fitted
    Thanks in advance

You could try loosening the rear engine mount just slightly; be sure to retorque it properly though
